A bald eagle, here watched in the waters of Prince William Sound, can not get his feathers wet, the prey he capture from the water must be at or near the surface. Lovely sea otters watched in Alaska’s Prince William Sound, an area with a great variety of marine- and wildlife. Sea otters consume nearly 25% of their weight daily. When not eating they float on their backs, grooming and resting. Sea lions eat during the night and sunning and resting during the day. Large males average 1.200 pounds, females up to 650 pounds. Shot made on the shore of the Prince William Sound, Alaska. The scenery is unbelievable, with forest in a hundred shades of green.
